WHY PROVISIONAL STATUS EXISTS

A young animal should never be presented with a juvenile height mistaken for mature size.

No height is accepted into the official herdbook before age 3. If an owner never submits an accepted mature measurement, the animal remains Provisional Registered with permanent DNA pedigree records intact.

📏 MEASUREMENT PROTOCOL

Flat Surface Standard

The animal must be standing square and relaxed on a solid, level concrete or timber surface.

Top of the Hip Measurement

Measurement must be taken precisely at the highest point of the hips/hooks perpendicular to the ground.

Photographic Evidence

Timestamped photo or video showing measuring stick crossbar resting level on the hip is required.

Strict 36-Month Age Gate

The registry does not certify mature size under 36 calendar months of age.
