What Is a Mini Highland?
Mini Highlands keep every classic Highland trait — the double coat, the horns, the gentle disposition — in a body that matures under roughly 48 inches at the hip. Micro Highlands are smaller still, often under 42 inches.
They’re hardy grazers that do well on small acreage (plan on at least two acres per animal, supplemented with quality hay), and their genetics are chosen for size predictability, coat quality, and calm temperament.
